Social Media Training

The explosion of new social communications channels makes it tough to keep up with what’s happening (and what to do about it). With a little introduction, however, it’s easy to learn how to use these channels to improve your access and impact.

The National Civic Summit will offer periodic free training sessions and conversations about how to use social media tools. Check out the first session here, which provides an overview about your web presence & SEO (search engine optimization) and an Introduction to Social Media in interview format. These will not be typical of the more tactical trainings ahead, but based on our initial feedback we thought a “demystifying” or introductory conversation would be helpful. If you are an experience social marketer, you will find these videos have basic overview information.

If you’d like to receive updates as we are posting the ongoing social media training sessions, please complete this form to opt-in to our e-mail communications. You can expect approximately 1 email a week until the National Civic Summit event.
